Dr. L. Dwight baker is a Board Certified plastic surgeon and is committed to delivering the highest quality aesthetic care to his patients. Dr. Baker is board-certified by the American Board of plastic surgery, as well as an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He completed his residency training in plastic and reconstructive Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also performs facial rejuvenation procedures including face lift, brow lift, blepharoplasty, and neck lift. They offer a comprehensive skin care program including La Roche-Posay's Biomedeic skin care line and procedures etc.
Beginning his pre-med education at Auburn University in Alabama, Dr. Baker then continued to the University of South Alabama in Mobile where he received his medical degree. Dr. Baker completed his general and vascular surgery residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama where he was chief resident. He practiced general surgery for 9 years in Georgia and Alabama prior to shifting his surgical focus.
Dr. Baker has been a practicing Plastic Surgeon in Dothan, Alabama since 1993 and established Dothan Plastic Surgery in 1999. Dr. Baker is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
In his small-city location, Dr. Baker provides modern cosmetic plastic surgery to patients traveling from all over the United States and abroad in a congenial, southern setting. Dr. Baker is very thorough in his consultations and enjoys the one-on-one relationships he develops with his patients. Dr. Baker wants each patient to make an informed decision regarding plastic surgery.
