Dr. Jay Calvert is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He practices in Beverly Hills, California and Orange County, California, where he performs all types of plastic surgery and specializes in cosmetic surgery. He has a special interest in face-lifts, rhinoplasty and breast enlargement. In order to better serve his patients, he recently departed from his full time academic appointment at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute of the University of California, Irvine.
Every person has their own vision of beauty. His goal is to develop a treatment plan designed to help each individual achieve their aesthetic goals in a safe and effective manner. Dr. Calvert sees new patients on Mondays and Wednesdays. A call can be made for consultation appointment and to learn more about Dr. Calvert's specialized aesthetic surgery practice.
Dr. Calvert has certifications & memberships from famous organizations like American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association and Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons, Plastic Surgery Research Council, Tissue Engineering Society International, Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, UCI Speakers Bureau and Cancer Center. He is the Director of Research, Division of Plastic Surgery, University of California Irvine Medical Center, Orange, CA, 2001-2005 and Director, Resident Education and Core Curriculum.
He was completed his B.A. Molecular Biology, in 1990 from Vanderbilt University, school of Arts & Sciences. He did Doctor of Medicine, in 1994, from Cornell University Medical College. After that he completed General Surgery and Plastic Surgery from University of Pittsburgh, Residency Training. He is also a Assistant Clinical Professor, at Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute, University of California, Irvine.
He is Representative to the Association of Americal Medical Colleges for the Plastic Surgery
Research Council, 2004-2005 and Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse Technology Advisory Committee, 2004-present. He performs the operations like Eyelid Surgery, Thighlift, Arm Lift, Laser Hair Removal, Botox Injection, Chemical Peel, Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Nose Surgery, Secondary Nose Surgery, Endoscopic Facelift and Necklift and Endoscopic Browlift.
He has received several awards like Gustave Award for excellence in anatomy, Best Scientific Presentation, Best Presentation, Who's Who in Medicine and Health Care in 3rd Edition, Who's Who in America in 57th Edition.
