Dr James Fox offers a very personal and private practice setting in a solo situation, personally undertaking all patient interviews as well as pre- and post-operative care. This approach allows him to carefully evaluate his patients and steer them toward safe and conservative surgical procedures. He feels that at this point in time the public is being assailed by aggressive and unrealistic advertising, and is thus being led into inappropriate surgery with false promises of a better future.
Dr. James W. Fox is a native of Taylor, Texas. He earned his Undergraduate Degree from T.C.U. in the year 1964 and entered Medical School at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1968. Dr Fox became the group surgeon of the United States Army?s 1st Special Forces in1972 and completed his Residency in General Surgery fromL.S.U., New Orleans, LA in 1974. he went on to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1977. He became an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery during 1977-1983. Dr Fox went into Private Practice in Austin in 1977 and continues there presently. Dr Fox is the Co-Founder of Austin Smiles Former President of Texas Plastic Surgery Society.
Dr. Fox is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and performs body Contouring (Liposuction Abdominoplasty tummy tuck), Breast Surgery (Augmentation, Breast Reduction, Breast Reconstruction, Breast Lift), Facial Enhancement (Facelift and Browlift, Eyelid Surgery, Laser Resurfacing), Nasal Surgery (Both Corrective and Cosmetic) Skin Cancer (Removal and Reconstruction).
