Grant Stevens, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Grant Stevens was graduated with honors from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and then returned to Barnes Hospital where he completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Board Certified Diplomat of The American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons and The International College of Surgeons. He was appointed by the governor to The Medical Board of California Medical Quality Review Board and is on The Plastic Surgery Faculty at both UCLA and USC. Dr. Stevens has been an invited visiting professor at Loma Linda University, University of Southern California, Switzerland and Denmark. There he has taught plastic surgeons, performed surgery, lectured on ultrasonic liposuction, breast surgery and advances in laser surgery.
Dr. Grant Stevens specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery. He is the Medical Director of Plastic Surgery Associates in Marina Del Rey and Palos Verdes. He is an active member at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital where he is the past chairman of the Department of Surgery. He is on staff at St. John's Medical Center and the Medical Director at the Marina outpatient surgery center.
Dr. Stevens has authored numerous publications that have appeared in professional journals. He has also lectured at international, national and regional meetings with presentations to such groups as The Swiss Plastic Surgery Society, The Danish Plastic Surgery Society, The Plastic Surgery Research Council, The American Association of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The California Society of Plastic Surgeons.
He is a member of many medical societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International College of Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He is the past chairman of The California Medical Association Advisory Panel of Plastic Surgeon. He received the California State Assembly and California State Senate Certificate of Recognition. He has received The Distinguished Service Citation from The Medical Board of California.
