Donald M. Brown, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is one of the most experienced and trusted surgeons in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Brown completed some of the most rigorous and prestigious educational and training programs in the world. After graduating with first class honors from the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Science, he attended the University's Medical School for 4 years, graduating first in his class in the Otolaryngology/Head and Neck division of the Department of Surgery. Dr. Brown spent a year traveling and working in various hospitals around the world. With this invaluable experience to his credit, Dr. Brown moved to New York, where he starts his residency training. He completed his Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery residency at the esteemed Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and went on to become board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Donald M. Brown has dedicated himself to providing his patients with the highest standard of cosmetic surgery possible. He takes the time to speak with and listen to his patients, answering any questions they might have and helping them to make confident, informed decisions about treatment. He was elected to the prestigious Explorer?s Club of New York. And also accepted a research position at Columbia University, where he focused on plastic surgery.
Dr. Brown later completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University?s Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and moved to West Africa upon completing his Plastic Surgery residency, accepting the position of Visiting Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Liberia. In Africa, he spent most of his time fixing cleft palates, cleft lips, and other congenital deformities and studying at various renowned plastic surgery hospitals, the most notable of which was the Carnesburne Plastic Surgical Hospital in Scotland. After he returned to the U.S., he became Board Certified in plastic surgery.
Dr. Brown and his staff are highly attentive to the individual needs and goals of patients, taking the time to answer their questions and help them to understand their options and try to handle it properly.
