Lawrence W. Tarrant, M.D.

Dr. Lawrence W. Tarrant began his practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1971. Dr. Tarrant is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has also earned a specialist certificate in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Canada. He has achieved the coveted title of Fellow in the American College of Surgeons as well as in the Royal College of Surgeons, Canada. He is full trained in all aspects of modern plastic and reconstructive surgery.

A Michigan native, Dr. Tarrant graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree and subsequently, a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed an internship at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan followed by 3 years of residency training in General Surgery at Hurley medical Center in Flint, Michigan. His Plastic Surgery residency was completed at the McGill Teaching Hospitals in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
