Is there anything ethical about the
practice of plastic surgery in Hollywood? A lot of stars are so
unsatisfied with how they look that going under the knife is their
only solution. Or does it cause more problems?
Let's bring in former glamour model Alicia Douvall as one of our
examples. The 30 year old model says "I've had so many
operations I can't feel my stomach, my left breast or anything under
my right arm," and adds, "I've had 15 boob jobs. I've
changed my eyes and nose, had facelifts. My philosophy is 'if it can
be changed it will be'".
The truth of the matter is that UK plastic surgeons repudiated to
treat the self-confessed plastic surgery addict, which led her to go
and find unethical cosmetic surgeons in the US.
Douvall's addiction is quite disturbing, but still not at the
level of Heidi Montag's creepiness. Montag tweets about her
post-surgery body.
She even generously provide tips on the maintenance of implants.
In her tweets, Montag said she's giving herself a soft tissue breast
massage (whatever that means), addressing all the ladies that there
is a need for them to keep those breast implants soft.
A couple of hours later she followed up her tweet with another
tip, this time about her jaw muscles. She said that taking a hot bath
soothes her jaw muscles, they are locked up and it is hard to talk
(according to her). Most fans know that Montag had her jawline fixed
or unfixed (rather) to be more feminine, which left her with
difficulties to chew her own food during her recovery. This kind of
disclosure makes it to the Most Depressing Tweets Ever.
If Montag's tweets and tips made you yearn for some major cosmetic
surgery, try out the new web application dubbed "Heidi
Yourself." This application allows you to see how you would look
if you'd been through the ten surgical procedures that Montag had at
under Dr. Frank Ryan. Try
it here.
If you are still stubborn enough to still want to go through any surgical procedures think about the late Michael Jackson, or Jocelyn
Wildenstein -- known as the "Cat Woman" because she looks
like a lion (frankly, Simba looks better). No matter how wealthy
these two people were they only proved that money can't buy looks or can't help them fix what they have destroyed!
