Injectable Fillers Cost

If faces started to show the effects of sun exposure, gravity, and years of facial muscle movement, such as smiling and frowning. The underlying tissues that give the skin a youthful and plumped up appearance begin to break down. This leaves creases in predicable areas such as laugh lines, crow's feet, smile lines, and marionette lines, wrinkles are classified into two categories, dynamic and static wrinkles.

Dynamic wrinkles are caused by contractions of the small delicate muscles of facial expression each time smile, laugh or frown. For a lifetime normal use, these muscle contractions may lead to more permanent lines and creases. Dynamic wrinkles typically form across the forehead, between the eyebrows, and on the sides of the eyes. These are treated best with BOTOX® injections.

Static wrinkles, which are caused by folds that form from the sagging of facial tissues, these wrinkles are caused by the life-long effects of gravity and result in laugh-lines and marionette lines. These wrinkles are best treated with soft tissue fillers such as Restylane, Hylaform, and Captique.

Injectables are usually administered in a surgeon's office based facility. The hospitalized for a facelift, browlift, necklift, or any other procedure, the injections may be administered in the hospital.

Treatment and Types of Soft Tissue Fillers, mostly Doctor's uses Hylaform®, Captique®, Restylane® and Fat.

Injected collagen and fat are primarily used to improve the appearance of the skin's texture. The deep facial wrinkles, creases and furrows, sunken cheeks, skin depressions and some types of scars. They can also be used to add a fuller, more sensuous look to the lips.

Injectables are usually not sufficient for severe surface wrinkles on the face, such as multiple vertical lipstick lines that sometimes form around the mouth. The plastic surgeon may suggest a resurfacing technique, such as chemical peel, dermabrasion or laser treatments. Filling in facial lines, resurfacing methods strip away the outer layers of the skin to produce a smoother appearance.

Deep folds in the face or brow caused by overactive muscles or by loose skin may be more effectively treated with cosmetic surgery. Injectables are sometimes used in conjunction with facial surgery procedures; Injectables alone cannot change facial contour the way surgery can.
