Plastic Surgery is both an art and science, and cannot be practiced with a cookbook. No two patients are the same, and William P Adams his main goal is to sit down with every patient and individualize their care. This practice philosophy allows both office staff and him to give patients optimal care.
William P. Adams Jr. is in private plastic surgery practice in Dallas; Tx. Dr. Adams is an international expert on breast augmentation and enlargement, breast implants including cohesive gel implants and body contouring procedures. He has developed new techniques for use in clinical breast implant surgery that has made breast augmentation and enlargement and breast reconstruction safer for patients.
He also is active in educating plastic surgeons around the country on the new level of breast augmentation currently possible including a re-defined patient experience and 24 hour recovery. Dr. Adams spent his first 10 years in practice in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center before transitioning to full time private practice to devote more time to his clinical practice and spend more time with his family. He is presently an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Adams is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASPRS).
He has published numerous papers and chapters as well as presented multiple plastic surgery lectures on the international level. Dr. William P. Adams, Jr, MD is publishing a landmark study in the January 2006 issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the premier Plastic Surgery journal in the specialty worldwide.
Dr. Adams' special interests include: cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery (including breast augmentation/enlargement and minimal scar breast lift), rhinoplasty, lip augmentation/enhancement, cosmetic surgery of the face, facial reanimation, body contouring/ tummy tucks and liposuction including ultrasound assisted lipoplasty.
Dr. Adams has found the specific surgical techniques allowing this rapid recovery as the single biggest advance in the procedure and a major benefit to his breast augmentation patients. Patient references may be given to you during your consultation if desired.
